My role as a soft tissue therapist is to assess, treat and rehabilitate chronic and minor injuries which may not only be caused by sport but by also day to day life in a safe and effective way.
Being a runner, cyclist and gym user I understand how you and your body can feel whether that is training for or post event, so with this mind I treat the you the way that I like to be treated as I understand the benefits that can be had from regular treatment before and after an event but also during our day to day lives where stress and tension can build up.
Massage has numerous benefits and can help towards:
* Reduction of pain
* Stress relief
* It can help with posture related issues
* Reduces muscular tension
* Can also help with quicker recovery from surgery, such as knee and hip
* It can also help to manage arthritis
This can help to support joints, protect minor injuries, assist in lymphatic drainage and help to decompress tissues.
If taping is required as part of a treatment session there will be no charge.
If you just require a taping appointment then this will be chargeable. (see price list)
These can either be booked online through the link above or by messaging, calling or emailing.
All new clients are booked in for a 1hr appointment, this will include a 10-15 minute consultation going over a consultation form you will have already completed, there may also be some postural & joint assessments.
All follow up appointments after that can either be booked in for 30 minutes or 1hr.
What to wear
It is important for you to feel comfortable during your treatment. So I ask that male clients wear shorts (running/boxer) and that female clients wear shorts and a bra that undoes from the back. Throughout your treatment towels are used to ensure that you are comfortable and that your modesty is maintained.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please give 24 hours notice or you may be charged full price.
I will be happy to re-book at a mutually agreeable time.
